Happy Birthday!
Happy 16th Birthday to Reggie, aka Reddy Rydher. He's had a wonderful life so far, Born in Tennessee, he flew out to California at 8 weeeks old. He grew up here at Stews' Poos, Stewarts' Landing. Reaching maturity, he moved to Fresno to live with Uncle Rusty on a ranch with acres of grass to play in and lots of girlfriends to play with.
After Rusty passed away a few years ago, Reggie came back to the Kern River Valley to live with Aunt Jeanne and Buddy, the Chihuahua. Doctor Vicki said Reggie was in great health and could continue to entertain lady friends, which he did with lots of enthusiasm. He did retire from studdom after turning 15 and has experienced some health issues with seizures in the last few months. At the recommendation of friends and the clerks at our local feed store, Rusty was introduced to hemp seed oil, which improved the condition and gave him a healthy case of the munchies.
I posted photos of Reggie earlier today on our Facebook page, www.facebook.com/stewspoosandyou. Reggie as produced lots of puppies, grandpuppies and great grandpuppies over the years and several people belonging to those pups put pictures of his progeny online to share. Happy Birthday, old guy!
